Christmas Math

As part of our reindeer unit, we filled in a reindeer picture with pattern blocks.  After filling in the picture, the students completed a graph.
The students had fun playing Gingerbread House: Race to 50.  The activity came from a creative teacher at ProTeacher.
Students used Christmas stockings to show they could skip-count by 5. First, the students colored the stockings. Then they cut them out, and glued them to strips of green construction paper. Students were able to work together to make a banner, which showed skip-counting.
