Is It a Condiment Tray or Teaching Tool?

Thanks to Teacher Tipster, I made a run to Dollar Tree. They had the condiment trays featured in the video that Mary at Guided Math shared. http://www.youtube.com/user/teachertipster?feature=mhum#p/u/18/0ch4fTFFgcs

My dice are still at school. I bought 2 trays so that I can still use one in small group and have one at a station.  I'm so glad that I have such awesome Blog Buddies!

  3. Thanks for posting that video! I've seen another one of his math ideas, I agree that he is awesome. I just saw some dip trays like those at Dollar Tree and I was thinking I should pick them up but I wasn't sure what to use them for... now I know! :)

  6. I knew my new Carolina friend was special. I love his videos. As soon as I saw it a few months ago, I went straight to DT and bouth the tray. It was an instant hit! They loved to discover the biggest number they could make. Great pic. Your words are neater than mine.

  8. Ok...Dollar Tree was so closed! But Target was not...bought some cute post-its that are numbered (1-4). Thought they would be great for a "quick check". Got some other really cute star shaped post its for quick teacher commentary! Thanks again!
